Quick question: Would you be able to build a drive speed benchmark into the Arch hardware diag? Ideally, if SMART passes and BadBlocks passes, it would perform a min/max/avg read test.

hdparm should work but it's a single pass program. I can run it multiple times and calculate the min/avg/max myself.
